Most days I take a break at lunchtime and I spend this time either walking along the beach or walking along my favorite “nature walk”, in which I walk through a tree-lined path behind a housing estate on the edge of some hills…  and this walk offers magnificent views over some waterways back across the flats to my favorite beach…

Today was my nature walk day and on this walk in the past I have come across passionfruit vines packed with ripe passionfruits and the occasional wild pumpkin, but today as I stopped to take in the view I noticed a small plant in front of me that I recognized as a tomato plant. Not because I am a horticulturist, far from it, but simply because it had some green tomatoes on it!

I was surprised to see tomatoes here of course, but it got me to thinking about nature and her cycles…

You see I haven’t seen a passionfruit on this walk for a number of weeks and now tomatoes are ripening right in front of me…

You see in nature everything has its cycles and seasons and it all seems to operate quite perfectly until man becomes involved…

After all, tress and flowers come into and move out of season… and animals seem to operate well with the changing seasons and adapt quite comfortably…. whereas humans aren’t so good at it.

Yet, it is estimated that up to 30% of the (first) world’s population is currently taking some form of anti-stress medication…

So here I am looking out over this incredible view back towards the beach shaking my head wondering ‘how did we get to this point’?

How have we created a world in which so many people are unhappy and suffering with stress-related disorders?

The only answer can be that we do not live by nor observe nature’s natural laws and cycles.  And not only that, the majority of people are not living the life that they really want to live!

How sad!

And this affliction is exclusive to humans isn’t it?

After all, I have never heard a story of a lion lying on a psychiatrist’s couch talking about his desire to become a vegetarian!

Have you?  Of course not!

So how can we turn this around?

How can we reduce the mass pain and suffering that has come to be accepted as normal?

Well, the first step is to become well acquainted with your inner world, and your inner knowing that is often referred to as your intuition…

Your intuition is your connection to nature, to her seasons and to her natural cycles…

And just like a dog is a dog and can’t be anything else, you are supposed to be YOU and nothing else!

And your intuition knows exactly what you want to have and to experience in life, yet often times this knowing is suppressed under a pile of “duties and responsibilities”, or it seems like such a monumental task to turn your own “titanic” around, so you just take another pill and “get on with it”…

But can you really live like this?

Can you continue to live merely a fraction of the way that you would really like to?

Do you really want to be unhappy for the remainder of your days?

Well, this can be turned around and the first step is to become well acquainted with that quiet voice (in some cases a loud voice!) deep inside the core of your being and begin to develop a relationship with it…

Once you do that anything is possible!

Wishing you peace, prosperity and the life you always dreamed of…
